About
As the Senior Director of Church Equipping, Jeff Buchanan assists pastors in dealing with one of the most crucial issues facing the global church today — homosexuality. Jeff provides practical resources and training to church leaders seeking to help those personally affected by unwanted same-sex attraction. Since its inception in 1976, Exodus has become the largest Christian ministry dealing with the topic of homosexuality in the world today.
Jeff’s own experience as a Christian who personally struggled with homosexual feelings allows him to better understand those who feel conflicted and trapped by their same-sex attractions. He is passionate about equipping the global church to effectively address this issue and has spent more than ten years in church ministry. Jeff has been a mentor to countless men seeking freedom from homosexuality and has served as an Associate Pastor at New Song Christian Fellowship in Tennessee.
He currently oversees the Exodus Church Association, an interdenominational network of more than 120 churches across the national seeking to compassionately address the subject of biblical sexuality.
Jeff has been interviewed by numerous Christian radio stations as well as ABC’s Los Angeles television station, KABC-TV, National Public Radio, Germany’s public broadcasting network ARD, bestselling author Rick Warren’s web site Pastors.com and New Man eMagazine. He holds a Masters Degree in Music from the University of Colorado in Boulder and holds a Masters Degree in Theological Studies from Liberty University. He and his wife, Angela, make their home in Orlando, Florida.
