Wow thank you for your thoughts on this Jeff! I'm with Randy and you on this too, I will be praying along the same lines. Something that was sent my direction about integrity from our own Kim Davis I thought worth sharing.
........................................................
"For our boasting is in this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and Godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you." 2 Corinthians 1:12

Simplicty in the Greek is actually the word opposite of devious. So to live with integrity is to live a life that's free of all deviousness or duplicity.

Sincerity in the Greek is EILIKRINEIA and means TRANSPARENT HONESTY, GENUINE PURITY, MANIFESTED CLARITY, UNSULLIED INNOCENCE. It means someone who has NOTHING TO HIDE, NO FEAR in being asked the tough questions. Yea, PURITY. SINCERE. REAL.

The literal translation is "judged by sunlight".

Greek merchants would patch up broken pottery and place it back out for sale and try to cover up the brokenness. However, smart buyers would hold up the pottery to the sunlight to check for any defects. They would be literally judging it by sunlight.

So what does it mean to walk out a life testimony of integrity?

It means avoiding all aspects of deviousness and duplicity. It means not being afraid of close and thorough examination by God, by the Church, or by the world. It means no fear in my motives or intents being "found out", because it means having nothing to hide. It means all of the words and phrases following the definition of sincerity.

It means being me. Being real, and being honest about it.

That is horrible. I think your course of action is a good one though and I hope they will implement something like that for him.

This is going to cause a LOT of headache for a lot of people. I join you in praying for God's will for everyone.
